Your satisfaction is important to us at MyRadioGuy. This Returns and Refund Policy outlines our terms, your rights, and our protections, fully aligned with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa and industry best practices.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Timeframe: Returns are accepted within 7 calendar days of delivery date.
Condition: Items must be:
Unused, unaltered, and in original, unopened packaging
Complete with all accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase
Exclusions: No returns or refunds on:
Products not purchased directly from MyRadioGuy
Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or improper installation
Consumables (e.g., batteries), software, downloadable goods, and custom-order items
Products marked "non-returnable" or "clearance"
2. Process for Returns
Request Authorization:
Contact us at info@myradioguy.co.za within 7 days of delivery.
Provide order details, item(s), reason, and evidence (photos if damaged/defective).
Obtain Return Approval:
Wait for an official Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.
Return the Product:
Ship the product at your expense (unless it arrived defective or was incorrectly supplied).
Items returned without an RMA or after 7 days will not be accepted.
Inspection & Decision
Assessment: All returns are subject to inspection. Damaged, used, or incomplete items may result in denial or a partial refund.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee (up to 15%) may apply for non-defective returns.
Refunds
Approval Required: Refunds are only processed after the returned item passes inspection.
Timeline & Method: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of acceptance.
Deductions: Shipping costs (both ways) and restocking fees (if applicable) are non-refundable except for defective or incorrect items supplied by us.
Exchanges & Warranty Claims
Defective Product: If you receive a defective item, notify us within 7 days. We may replace or repair the item per manufacturer's warranty policy.
Warranty: No refunds are processed for products outside the 7-day return window—claims are handled under the manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.
Exclusions and Limitations
No returns/refunds for items showing:
Physical, liquid, or electrical damage from misuse or neglect
Signs of tampering or unauthorized repairs
Missing accessories, manuals, or packaging
Non-receipted returns are strictly not accepted.
Goods returned after 7 days, without prior authorization, or in non-original condition, may be refused or returned at your expense.
Fraud & Abuse Safeguards
Multiple return requests or patterns of abuse may be flagged and future returns/refunds may be refused at our discretion.
Returns suspected to be fraudulent or intended to exploit policy loopholes will not be entertained; legal recourse will be pursued if necessary.
